Why not try 'Pop Art' as a Private Lesson Painting Workshop..................?  

Pop Art is becoming more and more popular.  It's a fun and simple way for you make a portrait of your favourite celebrity, pet, landmark or family member.  It makes an ideal and unusual gift.  No previous art experience is necessary to make these portraits and I guarantee great results or your money back.

You can paint your portrait on a classic white background, alternatively you could chose a pastel colour to suit your home decor.  All the materials you need for this workshop are supplied for you.  Refreshments are provided plus a light lunch.  Please allow 5 hours for this workshop.   

I can take a maximum of 4 students at a time for a Pop Art class, so if you'd like to make a group booking you can take advantage of the £5 discount per person.  You do not have to paint the same subject as everyone else.

Below, you can see how a family photo can be transformed into a funky Pop Art portrait.

I would need a selection of photos of your family member, (5 minimum, by email) or the name of your subject (if you were opting for a celebrity) at least 5 working days before the private lesson.  This allows me to work with the image, saving time during the class (although the procedure will be shown to you).

Painting are made on a 10 x 10 inch deep edge box canvas and can be gallery wrapped if photo permits (that means we can paint right around the sides of the canvas).  Larger canvas are available for your portraits at a nominal charge.
