Hi, I'm Sue Warne ACI. I am an Alexander Certified Instructor, qualified to teach you the wet on wet oil painting technique. That's me on the right........ I am an established Artist from Suffolk and I teach oil painting to beginners. If anyone would like to learn to paint, you've come to the right place. My classes are held in Suffolk/Essex. If you live further afield that's no problem as I have a comfortable self contained accomodation 'The Apollo Studio' . Student's have flown in from Portugal, France, Norway as well as all over the UK, taking advantage of a leisurely stop over.
At my classes you can relax in a friendly and fun atmosphere, away from family demands, away from the telephone, away from chores.
My beginner's classes allow you to indulge yourself totally, just leave the organisation to me. All you need to do is turn up with an open mind and allow me to show you in a just a few hours how you, a total beginner, can produce an oil painting which you can proudly display in your own home. These classes are just £45 per person. The price inclues refreshments plus all the equipment and materials you will need to complete a wonderful oil painting. A £20 deposit is required at the time of booking a class. Should you prefer, I am also able to offer one to one tuition in private painting classes from my home. I can easily teach private groups of up to 4 people from my light and airy dining room. The cost of these classes are just £65 per person. This price includes refreshments, a light lunch and all equipment and materials necessary to complete your large oil painting in around 5 hours. If you bring a friend you can take advantage of a £5 discount each. Feel free to select your own choicg of Painting Subject for the private classes.

Private Intermediate Classes - New for 2008
If you have taken 4 classes with AyoubArt, you will have reached intermediate level. A certificate will be issued to you at this stage. I currently teach a small variety of subjects which are a little more advanced and are aimed at intermediates. So far, in this category, we have a popular landscape 'Bamburgh Castle', which can be painted in a variety of colour schemes. We also have a wildlife subject 'Leon', a lion portrait. My intermediate students have produced these wonderful versions shown below. The private intermediate classes are also just £65 each. If you bring a friend you can take advantage of a £5 discount EACH! I can teach up to 4 intermediate students at a time. For the moment, the intermediate workshops are only available as private lessons. As the number of intermediate students grows, I can begin to host classes just for this category.
 
Another option open to intermediate level is the choice to paint a scene from a photograph. If you are interested in painting a specific scene, perhaps from a postcard of a holiday snap, feel free to forward me the image. However, I cannot guarantee every photo will make a good composition, but I may be able to offer an alternative.
